Classical solutions with both instantons and anti-instantons
Description
The SO(4) Yang-Mills theory is formulated in terms of matrices and finds solutions with both instantons and anti-instantons. The ''left-handed'' and ''right-handed'' projections of the gauge field yield the instanton and anti-instanton sectors, respectively. There are no interactions among instantons and anti-instantons in this model. The matrix formalism developed will facilitate the analysis of various SO(4) models in which the gauge field is coupled with other fields
