Fatigue resistance of welded joints of precipitation hardening alloys of niobium-zirconium-carbon system

Description
Effect of the regimes of welding and heat treatment on the fatigue resistance of welded joints of the NTsU alloy of the system niobium,zirconium-carbon has been studied. It is shown that niobium carbides of the plate shape, serving as sources of crack initiation and propagation, which are separated in the process of weldin are the main reason resulting in the Welded oints fracture. Measures to increase fatigUe resistance of the Welded joints are considered
