Hermitian metrics and the Weil-London approach to the ''quantum theory''
Description
It is shown that the use of Hermitian metrics and imaginary gauge transformations yields the Weil-london quantization of Bohr's orbis, with real fine structure constant. This example is proposed as an illustration of the notion that ''quantization'' may yet be ''explained'' through ''geometry''
