Visual examination of the boron distribution in stainless steels through a nuclear technique

A nuclear method based on the track-etch technique is used to assist in identifying in an unequivocal manner boron segregation on the grain boundary. In the present work the microtopography of boron in various austenic stainless steels is examined by using the above method
