Description

Monte Carlo techniques were used to calculate the mean doses received by 20 organs during diagnostic X-ray examinations. Results are presented for 22 commonly used radiographic views and for 45 combinations of tube voltage and filtration ranging from 50 to 140 kVp and 1.5 to 4 mm of aluminium, respectively. (author)
