Description
Adsorption isotherms of hydrogen, nitrogen and argon on ruthenium powder at temperatures 77.4 and 90.2 K have been determined within the pressure range of 0.01 - 250 Torr and analyzed by applying the BET or DR equations. The effect of high temperature chemisorption of hydrogen and nitrogen on the low temperature isotherms has also been examined. The results are discussed in comparison with those obtained earlier on rhenium powder. (author)
