Measurement of the cross section of forward Compton scattering on 24He at Eγ=1.8 + 3.8 GeV
Description
Differential cross sections of Compton scattering on 24He nuclei at transfer momenta 0.02 ≤ t < 0.14 (GeV/c)2 at energy range Eγ=1.8+3.8 GeV are measured. On the basis of multiple scattering diffraction theory, the differential cross sections at t=0. The diffraction cone parameters and the radius of 24He nucleus are determined. Experimental values of the phase of the scattering amplitude on nucleon are give. By means of differential cross sections at t=0, the full cross section of photoabsorption and the coefficient of photon shielding on 24He are determined
