Gamma-gamma angular correlation measurements in 182W
- 1. Punjab Univ., Chandigarh (India). Dept. of Physics
Description
Gamma-gamma angular correlation measurements have been carried out on 11 cascades in 182W following the decay of 182Ta. The 1181-229 and 116-1257 keV cascades have been studied for the first time. A unique spin assignment of 2+ has been made to the 1510 keV level in 182W from the analysis of 1181-229 keV cascade. Also, the multipole admixtures in 116, 152, 156, 179, 222, 264, 1113, 1121, 1181 and 1231 keV transitions have been measured. (author)
