Study on profits and the financial position of regional grid operators 2006-2009
Description
Grid operators have a distribution duty and a legal task to take care of a reliable energy network. To carry out the legal tasks it is important that grid operators have sufficient financial means. On the other hand, it is also important that users of energy networks do not pay too much. Chapter 1 addresses the research approach. The results of the first research question on regulated profits are discussed in chapter 2. The findings on the impact of the economic profit on the financial position are described in chapter 3. And finally, the findings on the financial position are described in chapter 4.
Abstract (Dutch)
Netbeheerders hebben een transportplicht en een wettelijke taak om te zorgen voor een betrouwbaar energienetwerk. Voor het uitvoeren van de wettelijke taken is het van belang dat netbeheerders over voldoende financiele middelen kunnen beschikken. Anderzijds is het van belang dat gebruikers van de energienetwerken niet te veel betalen. In hoofdstuk 1 wordt ingegaan op de onderzoeksaanpak. De uitkomsten voor de eerste onderzoeksvraag naar gereguleerde winsten komt aan de orde in hoofdstuk 2. De bevindingen over de impact van de economische winst op de financiele positie staan beschreven in hoofdstuk 3.
