Fabrication of materials for exoelectron detectors

  • 1. Physikalisch-Technische Bundesanstalt, Berlin (Germany, F.R.). Inst. Berlin

Description

This invention relates to the design and manufacture of a material forming the plate for an apparatus to determine the radiation dose by exoelectron emission, that will be called dosemeter. This material includes a first substance that comprises electron traps and able to emit exoelectrons by thermal or optical stimulation and a second substance having good ionic conductivity and able to provide a solid material. The first substance is selected from the group that includes α- alumine and beryllium oxide, or the group comprising: SO4Ca, SO4Ba, CaF2, SO4Sr and FLi. The second substance is alumine that has crystallised in the β phase
