Field investigations of sorption properties of clinoptilolites

Description

With the aim of estimation of localizing efficiency of water-protection structures in the 30-km zone were fulfilled experiments in testing sorption ability of clinoptilolite charging in the body of filtering dams. It was shown that the maximal effect of water cleaning from radionuclides was achieved by clinoptilolite of 5-7 mm fraction and at the filtration rate of 5 m/h. 1 tab
