Description

Solubility data of radioactive tetravalent metal hydroxides under relevant temperature conditions are required for the safety assessment of nuclear waste disposal. Since it has been reported that the apparent solubility potentially changed depending on the temperature conditions, it is important to reveal the temperature effect on the solubility-limiting solid phase. In this study, the particle size of zirconium hydroxide aged under various solution conditions at 25, 40, 60, and 90℃ was investigated by small angle X-ray scattering method. (author)
