Non-flame atomic-absorption determination of lead, copper, cadmium, and zinc in sodium chloride
- 1. Dnepropetrovskij Gosudarstvennyj Univ. (Ukrainian SSR)
Description
Technique for atomic-absorption determination of lead, copper, cadmium and zinc microimpurities in sodium chloride with nx10-9% sensitivity is suggested. The technique is based on preconcentration of microimpurities through coprecipitaion with magnesium hydroxide and non-flame atomic-absorption determination. Quantitative preconcentration (>95%) is obtained from sodium chloride concetrated solutions (130-140 g/l) at 90-100 deg C temperature of magnesium hydroxide precipitation, within 12-13 pH interval and 1 mmol/l magnesium hydroxide amount
