Investigation of spatial and energetic structure of heavy ion track
- 1. Nauchno-Issledovatel'skij Fiziko-Khimicheskij Inst., Moscow (USSR)
Description
The calculating procedure by the Monte-Carlo method has been developed and spatial and energy distribution of the recoil electrons in the track of heavy Y127 had been found. Spatial distribution of energy losses, density of the formed ions, as well as the value of the mean energy consumed for the formation of one ion pair at different distances from the track axis have also been found. Structures of the tracks of a proton and multicharged ion have been compared. The dependence of the radiation yield of the reactions in tracks on an electron linear path is discussed
