Stability of chelate complexes of lanthanides with derivatives of trifluoroacetylacetone in a water-ethanol solution

Description
By the method of pH-potentiometric titration at 18 deg C and ionic strength μ = 0.1 the successive stability constants of lanthanide (Ln La-Nd, Sm-Lu) complexes with trifluoroacetylacetone derivatives: F3C-CO-CH2-CO-R (R = CH3, -C(CH3)3, -OC2H5) were determined. Using a previously suggested parametric equation, potential strength of the relevant β-diketonates of promethium was evaluated. It is shown that within the given class of ligands stepped complexing is characterized by the ratios of constants deviating from statistic distribution

Методом рН-потенциометрического титрирования при 18 град. С и ионной силе μ = 0,1 определены последовательные константы устойчивости комплексов лантанидов (Ln = La-Nd, Sm-Lu) с производными трифторацетилацетона: F3C-CO-CH2-CO-R (R = CH3, -C(CH3)3, -OC2H5). С использованием предложенного ранее параметрического уравнения оценена потенциальная прочность соответствующих β-дикетонатов прометия. Показано, что в пределах данного класса лигандов ступенчатое комплексообразование характеризуется соотношениями констант, отклоняющимися от статистического распределенияAdditional details
