Correlations of identical π mesons and characteristics of the region of their emission in π-p interactions at 5 GeV/c

Description
In multiple production of π mesons in π-p interactions at 5 GeV/c positive correlations are observed between like-charged π mesons with similar values of four-momentum. These correlations are explained by the quantum-mechanical principle of identity of bosons, and on this basis the size and shape of the region of emission of the π mesons are determined
