Syntactic analyser of a natural language. Principles and mechanisms of automatic translation systems for a string grammar and a dictionary

Description
The syntactic analysis of a natural language requires a grammar describing this language and a dictionary of its words with their syntactic and semantic characteristics. After a purely linguistic introduction, we study the structure and function of the elements of the string grammar, which M. SALKOFF created in the French language, as well as the dictionary associated to it. After introducing the language acceptable to the syntactic analyser, we are able to describe the compilation mechanisms, that we use to translate the grammar and the dictionary into the structure suitable for the analyser. A special development is added for the construction of compilers adaptable to any computer. (author)

L'analyse syntaxique d'une langue naturelle ne peut se faire qu'a l'aide d'une grammaire decrivant cette langue et d'un dictionnaire contenant les mots de celle-ci avec leurs caracteristiques syntaxiques et semantiques. Apres une introduction purement linguistique, on decrira la forme et la fonction des elements de la grammaire en chaine du francais de M. SALKOFF et du dictionnaire associe. La presentation du langage acceptable par l'analyseur syntaxique nous conduira a la description des mecanismes de compilation qui nous permettront de traduire la grammaire et le dictionnaire en des formes correctes pour l'analyseur. Un developpement particulier sera presente pour la constitution de compilateurs adaptables sur toute machine. (auteur)Files
