The search for dark matter particles in the Universe

  • 1. Department of Physics and Astronomy, Box 951547, University of California Los Angeles, Los Angeles, California 90095-1547 (United States)

Description

We briefly review the latest evidence for non-baryonic dark matter in the Universe, including cosmological constants. We also review the most recent estimates for SUSY dark matter particle interaction with matter. We then provide a critique of the current search for the dark matter with various detectors and describe one very promising method using powerful background discrimination in liquid xenon
