Kondo magnets problem
Description
A brief review of experimental data on anomalous rare earth and actinide magnets is provided. In the framework of s-d(f) exchange model the Kondo and Kondor-type divergencies in paramagnetic state with regard for spin dynamics, as well as in ferro- and antiferromagnetic states, are investigated. Electron energy spectrum, resistance and thermoemf (including anomalies in transition point), magnetic moment suppression, homogeneous and heterogeneous magnetic susceptibilities, frequency of spin fluctuations, are considered. Qualitative picture of the Kondo magnet basic state is discussed, their properties are compared with the properties of conventional band magnets
