Development of time to digital convert module based on TDC-chip

Description
The time measurement and data processing of front end readout module on MWDC was introduced. FPGA has powerful logic control and data processing functions. And TDC-GP21 chip is a high resolution, low cost, low power consumption and small packaging device. By using FPGA and TDC chip, the module meets requirements of application. The test results show that this TDC module achieves a time resolution of 55ps and a good linearity. (authors)
