Description

For the first time, the hydrogenated dimer, trimer, tetramer, and pentamer of 1-hexene oligomers were studied by Raman spectroscopy. We showed that the monitoring of the D-LAM and the symmetric C–C stretching bands of these compounds allows to determine the total amount of carbon atoms in the molecule and the number of carbons in trans-segments of the branched CH2-chains and to distinguish these compounds from normal alkanes.
