X-ray diagnosis in lesions of the facial part of the skull

The different forms of visceral skull fractures which are often not diagnosed or wrongly diagnosed and their accident etiology are described. The possibilities and problems of X-ray diagnoses are outlined, and combinations of standardized (typical) native summation pictures are presented which enable every physician doing the first examination to make a valid initial X-ray diagnosis which will be the basis for the desired immediate therapy.
