Further studies on the response of spherically moderated neutron detectors
- 1. Bhabha Atomic Research Centre, Bombay (India). Div. of Radiological Protection
Description
The responses to neutrons of TL detectors, track detectors, boron loaded emulsions and activation foils kept in spherical moderators have been calculated and are found to agree generally with experimental values. Any modification to rem responding counters like the one designed by Leake affects the sensitivity greatly while marginally improving the energy response. (orig.)
