Experience shows that the diagnosis of the reflex sympathetic dystrophy syndrome has to be based on findings obtained by interdisciplinary methods. The 3-phase bone scintigraphy contributes significant criteria for proof of defective blood circulation or changes in the metabolism of the bone, and is well suited for analysis of the pathogenous mechanisms. The still unclear specificity of the 3-phase bone scintiscan has to be taken into account, however. (orig./MG)

Abstract (German)

Aus unseren bisherigen Erfahrungen ergibt sich die Schlussfolgerung, dass die Diagnose eines Sudeck-Syndroms interdisziplinaer abgesichert werden muss. Die Drei-Phasen-Skelettszintigraphie leistet fuer die Diagnose-Sicherung einen wichtigen Beitrag beim Nachweis der Fehlregulation der Durchblutung und der Veraenderungen im Knochenstoffwechsel. Die Methode bietet sich zur Analyse der pathogenetischen Mechanismen an. Einschraenkend muss jedoch die bisher unklare Spezifitaet der Drei-Phasen-Skelettszintigraphie erwaehnt werden. (orig./MG)
