Description
New values of the atomic properties of some trans actinides have been derived from more accurate multiconfiguration Dirac-Fock (MCDF) and quite recently from DF coupled-cluster (CC) calculations. Theoretical investigations of molecular properties of the trans actinides have been started only in the beginning of the nineties initiated by a growing number of questions connected with the experimental research. Results of the theoretical studies of molecular properties, as well as of the recent studies of atomic properties for elements beyond Lr have been overviewed
