Multiplicities and correlations of secondary charged particles in interactions of antineutrons and antideuterons with a momentum of 6.1 GeV/c per nucleon on tantalum nuclei

Description

Experimental data have been obtained on the multiplicities of pions and protons in the interactions of antineutrons and antideuterons with tantalum nuclei. A 3-mm thick target was placed in the active volume of two-meter hydrogen-filled chamber LYUDMILA, which was exposed in the beam of 12.2 GeV/c antideuterons at the IHEP. Antideuterons were produced in antideuterons stripping on hydrogen in chamber volume. The results were compared with the data on proton-nucleus interactions and with results on intranuclear cascades model. The possibility of formation of a cluster of hot hadronic matter in the process of annihilation within the nucleus is discussed
