Description
This brief article criticizes a paper which discusses findings concerning the waterlily radionuclide pathway for 226Ra. It disagrees with the inference that radium in the foliage of Nymphaea violacea is acquired by root uptake and re-distribution within the plant. It is argued that the pathway is from sediment to water foliage. (UK)
