The major factors forming radioecological conditions of Apsheron

Full text : It is known, that the territory where oil extraction and production are carried out (drilling and factories) usually exposed to influence of a huge amount of discharging manufacturing water containing considerable quantity of radioactive elements. This wastes form small zones with highness about 50-200 square kilometers. As time goes by these zones start to render their harmful influence on an environment. It is in detail described in what areas of Azerbaijan there are similar zones and what their background intensity. It is also marked, that most likely the radioactive wastes of the Armenian atomic power station are dumped in the rivers, going through the territory of Azerbaijan and in turn rendering significant influence on radioecological conditions of these rivers, and the areas located on their coasts and subsequently flow to Caspian sea and create there pollution zones near to shore. There are other factors determined by radioactive impurity of some areas of Azerbaijan are also specified in this clause. (e.g.: output of the radionuclides from deep parts of the ground; factories on production of iodine; mud volcanos, etc.)
