SD-pair shell model calculation of even-even Mo isotopes
Description
The SD-pair shell model (SDPSM) is an approximation of the NPSM (nucleon-pair shell model) where the latter is truncated to surface-delta pair subspace. In this article SD-pair shell model is applied to study even-even Mo94, Mo96, Mo98 and Mo100. It is found that with the SD pair determined as 01+ and 21+ states of a two-valence-nucleon system with surface-delta interaction, the collectivity of low-lying states can be described reasonably in terms of a three-parameter Hamiltonian.
