Description

An inplant loop test was conducted to investigate the mechanism of deposition of activated corrosion product on primary coolant pipings of Boiling Water Reactor. Metal coupons were exposed to primary coolant of a BWR with a loop. Factors which affect the deposition, such as flow velocity, surface roughness, concentration of particulate and materials, were examined. From this inplant test, deposition mechanism was confirmed both qualitatively and quantitatively. (author)
