A solid-phase radioimmunoassay for quantitative measurement of class-specific antibodies against tick-borne encephalitis virus
Description
Antigen-coated polystyrene spheres are used for a solid-phase RIA for IgM and IgG antibodies against tick-borne encephalitis virus (TBE). The use of highly purified anti-μ and anti-γ antibodies permitted the construction of standard curves from which quantitative values for TBE-specific IgG and IgM could be obtained. An antibody-blocking test identifies non-specific results. (Auth.)
