Description
In Radioactive particle tracking (RPT) technique the motion of a single radioactive particle is tracked using an array of scintillation detectors. The objective of current study was to develop a method for preparation of radioactive micro particles with size ranging from 500-1500 um for their application in RPT studies. Glass micro particles containing Zn-65 and Co-56 radioisotopes have been prepared by melt quench and microwave method followed by nuclear activation. (author)
