Description
According to the number of the presentations, in particular those with high novelty value, the following clinical focal points of nuclear medicine emerged as unchanged: Neurology, cardiology and oncology. The development of the latest technical methods such as PET and SPECT as well as radiochemical research, e.g. on radio-immuno diagnostics, is also being undertaken according to these clinical fields. Nevertheless, all other sectors of the wide range of nuclear medical methods are also developing more and more. The intensive efforts to achieve new breakthroughs in therapy as well cannot be overlooked. (orig.)
