Dynamic simulation of an LMFBR steam generator

Description

The model of a sodium heated evaporator as is used in a recirculating steam generating system is described. The thermal hydraulic equations are derived for one channel. The assumptions are stated and model limitations are discussed in detail. The uniqueness of the model is the utilization of the moving mesh approach to solve the conservation equations. Some results are presented and the overall usefulness of the model is discussed
