Description
Polarization dependence of X-ray absorption spectra EXAFS-and XANES of oriented films on the basis of Y-Ba-Cu-O was studied. Analysis of specific features on the K-edge of copper absorption in terms of 1s-4pπδ-transitions and shake-down processes was carried out. Comparison with the Bianconi calculations showed agreement in the orientation behaviour of the first specific feature beyond the absorption edge
