Acceleration of a relativistic electron bunch in linear and nonlinear plasma waves

Paper elaborates an approach enable to investigate into acceleration of ultrarelativistic electron bunch within arbitrary configuration plasma wave. It is shown that within a linear plasma wave near the particle maximal energy in the spectrum there is a maximum. In nonlinear plasma wave the energy spectrum is more blurred and relative proportion of most energy particles is lower
