Influence of the interatomic interaction in intermetallic compounds on their sorption ability relative to hydrogen
Description
The results of the investigation confirm the expediency of using the combination of parameters of the oriented interatomic interaction in multicomponent intermetallic melts for the analytic generalization of data on their sorption capacity (relative to hydrogen) in the crystal state. It is shown that the thermodynamic properties of intermetallic hydrides can be interpreted as a result of the complex influence of electronic and structural factors. Semiempirical models are proposed for the prognostication of sorption capacity of the intermetallic compounds and the enthalpy of formation according to their composition with the aid of these criteria
