Theoretical studies on rotationally symmetric beam generation systems with a field emission source
Description
To determine the field distribution in beam generation systems with fine field emission sources, a combined analytic and discrete solution of the Laplace equation is described. The method is applied to a diode and triode system. Emittance diagrams are established in order to determine the narrowest electron beam cross section. (ORU)

Zur Bestimmung der Feldverteilung in Strahlerzeugungssystemen mit feiner Feldemissionsquelle wird eine Kombination von analytischer und diskreter Loesung der Laplace-Gleichung beschrieben. Angewandt wird das Verfahren auf ein Dioden- und Triodensystem. Zur Bestimmung des engsten Buendelquerschnitts des Elektronenstrahls wurden Emittanzdiagramme erstellt. (ORU)
