Recombination
Description
Aspects of the mechanisms of electron-ion recombination are examined and the assembly of the composite theoretical picture of recombination in thermal plasmas is discussed. Some fruitful paths for exploitation of such calculations in spectral interpretations of recombining plasmas are reviewed. (author)
