Collective hamiltonians in the generator coordinate method: a numerical procedure

Description

A numerical procedure is introduced which allows to-extract a collective hamiltonian, expressed in terms of a collective canonical pair p and q. The starting point is a microscopic many-body approach, namely the Generator Coordinate Method (GCM), and the Weyl formalism permits the description of the collective dynamics in the p-q space. As an illustration numerical calculations are compared with exact results, obtained analytically, for the quadratic energy kernel with gaussian overlap approximation case and the Goldhaber-Teller dipole model applied to the 4He nucleus. Introduz-se um procedimento numerico que permite extrair uma hamiltoniana coletiva, expressa em termos de um par canonico coletivo p e q. o ponto de partida e uma abordagem de muitos corpos microscopica, a saber o metodo de coordenadas geradoras, e o formalismo de Weyl permite a descricao da dinamica coletiva no espaco p - q. Como uma ilustracao, comparam-se calculos numericos com resultados exatos, obtidos analiticamente, para o caroco de energia quadratico com o caso de aproximacao de recobrimento gaussiano e o modelo de dipolo de Goldhaber-Teller aplicado ao nucleo de 4He.
