Description

In paper the results of experimental and theoretical studies of the component content of chemically active electrically neutral particles in the barrier discharge in dry air (RH∼20%) and humid air (RH∼20%) are presented. For calculations of neutral component concentration we proposed the approach based on contributed power averaging over entire volume of the discharge gap. The proposed approach advantages are absent of following fitting parameters: the sizes of microdischarges, their surface density, the breakdown frequency. The concentrations of O3, HNO3, HNO2 and NO3 are measured experimentally with 1.5 W/cm2 specific power in the discharge and variations of transient time of the particles in the discharge gap in range from 0.3 to 2.4 and time of accumulation of the particles in working chamber in range from 0 to 40 minutes. It is shown that the best agreement of the calculation and the experiment is observed at calculation gas medium temperature in the discharge of about 400...430 K which is close to experimentally measured rotational temperature determined of second positive system of N2. It is shown also that for dry air agreement between experiment and calculation is better than for humid air
