Description
The fundamental principle of MHD energy conversion is described. Parameters are compared of superconducting magnets allowing increased MHD generator performance for experimental and industrial uses. A Montardy-type 300 MW power plant with MHD generator is described and its block diagram is shown. (J.P.)
