Investigation into reaction kinetics of OH and O- radicals with ammonia in aqueous solutions by the method of pulse radiolysis
Description
Rate constants for ammonia reactions with OH and O- radicals are determined by the pulse radiolysis method, using the microcomputer-base recording system, to investigate the initial stages of radiolytic processes in aqueous-ammonia systems, used as coolants in the WWER type reactors. They are equal to (7.0±1.4)x107 and (2.8±0.5)x107 dm3/(molxs), respectively. The irradiation was conducted by 5 MeV electron, current in the impulse up to 0.2 A and impulse duration 2.3 mcsec
