Solitons and action propagation according to general relativity (Part one)
Description
The current exposition of General Relativity involves two contradictory statements: at first it is asserted that every change in the distribution of matter brings about gravitational waves. Then it is asserted that, specifically, no gravitational effect is produced by the pulsations of a spherical source. By analysing the second statement, we conclude that it arises from a vicious circle tied up with mathematical errors which led to the Schwarzschild solution and the theory of black holes. In order to obtain the correct formulation of the problem, we establish rigorously the general form of the θ(4)-invariant space-time metrics on R x R3 and bring out the principles allowing to associate gravitational effects with oscillating masses
Abstract (French)
L'exposition courante de la relativite generale donne lieu a deux enonces contradictoires: d'une part on affirme que tout changement dans une distribution quelconque de matiere engendre un effet gravitationnel; d'autre part on affirme que si la distribution de matiere est a symetrie spherique il n'y a pas d'effet gravitationnel. En analysant la seconde affirmation on conclut a un cercle vicieux avec erreurs mathematiques qui menent a la solution de Schwarzschild et a la theorie des trous noirs. Pour obtenir une formulation correcte du probleme on etablit la forme generale rigoureuse des metriques θ4-invariantes en espace-temps sur R x R3 de facon a exclure les principes permettant d'associer effets gravitationnels et masses oscillantesAdditional details
