On experimental study of regularities of elastic-plastic deformation and fracture of materials under complex stress state

Description
An automatic complex is described for testing materials under plane stress state in the 93-1000 K temperature range where thin-walled tubular specimens are subjected to axial forces, torsional moments and internal pressure according to optional programs in a real stress space; data acquisition and data processing are carried out in a real time scale with calculation results printing. Basic investigation results on regularities of deforming and fracture of various structural materials (chromium-nickel steels, carbon steels, copper) under complex stress state at low temperatures are considered
