Eco information 8. Influence of operation of the plants Jadrova vyradovacia spolocnost , a.s., on the environment within August 2008

In this leaflet the results of monitoring of chemical gaseous and liquid effluents into the rivers Vah and Dudvah as well as of radiation monitoring of Bohunice V1 NPP and Bohunice Radioactive Waste Processing Centre (VYZ) are presented. The radioactive effluents into atmosphere within January - August 2008 (for NPP V1, A1, and MSVP, respectively) were: 3.581 TBq (0.179% of annually limit (AL)) for V1 of rare gases; 14.650 MBq (0.018% AL) for V1), 2.298 MBq (0.24% of AL) for A1 and 0.395 MBq (0.13% of AL) for MSVP) of aero-soles; 11.070 MBq (0.017% of AL) for V1) of iodine. The radioactive effluents into atmosphere and hydrosphere within a August 2008 for NPP V1, A1 and MSVP, respectively) were: 0.855 TBq (V1) of rare gases; 2.508 MBq (V1), 0.448 MBq (A1) and 0.039 MBq (MSVP) of aero-soles; 3.247 MBq (V1) of iodine; 1.324 MBq (V1) and 13.60 MBq (VYZ, totally) of corrosive and fission products, and 150.1 GBq (V1) and 16.24 GBq (VYZ, totally) of tritium. For the period January - August 2008 these radioactive effluents into recipient of Vah River represent for corrosive and fission products 13.522 MBq (0.104% of AL) for V1, 73.49 MBq (0.61% of AL) for A1; and for tritium it is 1973.3 GBq (9.867% of AL) for V1, 39.52 GBq (1.40% of AL) for A1.
