Description
The DENSITRON 4M image analyzing system developed at the Central Institute for Isotope and Radiation Research Leipzig, was modified for the search, counting and measurement of tracks in Solid State Nuclear Track Detectors. A microscope was equipped with stepping motors for movement along the x-, y- and z-coordinates. The motors are controlled by the microcomputer of the DENSITRON 4M system. For track detector evaluation special subroutines were linked to the software. (author)
