ECT remedial action program
Description
The Environmental Control Technology Division (ECT) is a component of the Office of Environmental Compliance and Overview under the Assistant Secretary for Environment of the Department of Energy (DOE). The purpose of this paper is to describe the scope of various programs conducted by ECT to define the need for remedial action and assist in the implementation of cleanup projects. Three program activities form the DOE's program of remedial actions. The three programs are: (1) The grand Junction Remedial Action Program, (2) The Uranium Mill Tailings Remedial Action Program, and (3) Formerly Utilized Manhattan Engineer District/Atomic Energy Commission (MED/AEC) Site Remedial Action Program - called FUSRAP
