Approach to magnetic saturation in amorphous Gd2T (T=Co,Ni and Cu)
Description
We report on the magnetization curve for the amorphous alloys, Gd2Co, Gd2Ni and Gd2Cu, at 4.2 K. They have a small random magnetic anisotropy which correlates over the range of 16-23 A. The magnetization approaches saturation as a function of B-1/2 rather than B-2 where B is the magnetic field. (orig.)
