Description
Reactivity of hydrated electron with polycations viz. polyethyleneimine and polyvinylpyridiniumbromide has been investigated in the absence and in the presence of added salts. Effect of valency of the added anions has been investigated. Results show that multivalent anions condense more efficiently on the polycation and the reactivity of eaq- with the polycation greatly decreases. (author). 3 refs
